Deserts make beautiful landscape art, and when the artist is actually an artificial intelligence, there is often and added dimension to the creation. With simple prompts we have managed to create a variety of desert landscape images which would look great framed and hung on any living space wall. A number of different components can be introduced to the AI during the instruction phase, for the desert, we came up with words such as oasis, saguaro cactus, cacti, dunes. Those words are all typically associated with the desert. The AI came up with a few different kinds of cacti and threw them into the mix, but the dunes were all present and perfect along with the odd saguaro here and there aswell. It was on this batch we decided to produce a couple of pictures with a surreal lightning storm in the background. The render and positioning of the storms is very dramatic as can be seen in the two relevant artworks where the lightning bolts are striking on the desert sand and the bright flashes light up the nearby storm clouds. Just as prominent, but far less dramatic are the inclusions of the oasis areas in two pictures. Water and trees have been painted and if you look closely at the ones with an oasis, using your imagination there are a couple of people doing their daily business around the water too - which we thought was nice.
